Growing up I believed that having a high-paying job and a well-known career was the only way to help my family and find fulfillment in life. To meet these expectations, I went to Taiwan to start my career and ultimately relocated to Canada in 2011. I worked hard to establish myself, brought my siblings in Canada, building both my family and my career. I became a staff member at Health Services and even planned to advance in my career. To earn more money, I took on many shifts including overtime and holidays.

Although the income was great, I found myself paying more in taxes and ending up with nearly the same amount of money as if I had only worked regular hours. The time I spent working tirelessly for a few extra dollars took away valuable moments that I could have spent with my family. While I was grateful for my job, I prayed and realized that I couldn't imagine spending 30+ more years slaving away at a job for a fixed salary, trading away time that I could never get back. Time is a luxury that should be spent with loved ones and on the important things that give life meaning.

Thankfully, I was introduced to Greatway in 2017. Following in the footsteps of my leader, I began working part-time in the business, and Greatway opened new doors for me and my team. The income opportunities enabled me to pay off my student loans and credit card debts, and even purchase a rental property to build assets. There are always challenges along life’s journey, but with Greatway I now live a better life, spending quality time with my family and traveling together.
